1. You don’t have support for the software you purchase(usually), or partial support.
2. It’s illegal.
3 Pirated software’s are usually cracked, the cracking software’s usually contain viruses or trojan horse’s. More often trojan horses, since they steal info. from your Pc and send it over the network to someone(most probab. it’s creator) .Otherwise why would one create one, who is concerned about your money and
security in this cruel world .

Hacking and cracking is usually done using assembly language. Usually for cracking the program to be cracked is opened in a software that shows it’s hex values or identifies specific instruction like INT 13 for the dos and tries to find loop holes.
Hacking or cracking of operating system usually needs very good knowledge of the Os architecture too. Here i’m referring to hacking as to something done through programming and not a software bug that is used to infiltrate it.If you are intrested in hacking, you should take a course on computer architecture and microprocessors. Knowledge of programming languages like C and C++ may also be useful. I won’t recommend books by authors like Ankit fadia, because what he calls hacking is more sought of child’s play.
Backing up your data on time to time basis is the best thinng do, since precaution is better than cure.
But what if you have important data in your hard disk and a virus has stopped access to the hard disk or the OS. If it’s an
assembled desktop then probably you would have got the driver CD’s from your dealer., if not then contact him and get it
you have paid for it. If you have a laptop then probably you have your recover disk with you. Now for backing up data on a windows machine attacked by a deadly virus you can use knoppix.
Knoppix is a live distribution of linux. Live here means that it will run from your CD ROM and wont get installed onto your hard disk. BOSS can also be used for the same purpose.
Steps:-
- Switch on the infected machine.
- Go to boot device priorities on the bios. F12 or del key is usually used to enter the bios as soon as you switch on the PC.
- Make CD/DVD ROM your first priority boot device.
- Then put the Knoppix or BOSS CD/DVD in your CD drive and save the changes on the bios and it should start automatically.
- Now your PC should boot onto Knoppix and it should be up and running in few minutes while doing so knoppix will show some Geek messages, you should not be bothered about this unless your PC hangs.
- Now search your PC for the data required and save it in a flash drive.
- Remove the knoppix CD from the CD/DVD ROM and restart your PC.
- Now format using the recovery CD or Windows CD whichsoever you have.

This is a debian version of Linux. Linux is an open-source Operating system developed by Linus Torvalds i.e., it is free of cost and is known for it’s security. Linux professionals are in demand in the industry and will soon be in demand in PSU’s in 2 to 3 years in india too. Knowing BOSS can help one easily get a job in indian PSU’s. BOSS is already being used in indian navy and army and it’s demand is soon going to rise more.

Wanna replace the start word on your desktop with your own name. This
is very easy to be done. Go to your windows folder, copy explorer.exe,
and paste it in a different drive, then go to command promt and go to
the path where you stored the file using the cd command(for help on dos
commands type help on command prompt) and then type edit explorer.exe.
This will bring an editor to the dos screen with wierd stuffs wriiten.
Scroll down for recognizable english and try to find the word start,
or use the search option from the editor. Replace this word with your
name if your name is also of 5 characters, if not so then search for
a character having value equal to the number of characters in your name,
the value of a chracter is shown in the bottom left corner of the
command prompt, and replace the word in front of the word start with
that character and replace start with your name…….and your done.

Ok, now lot of people want to know which antivirus is the best.Companies like Norton,McAfee are old in this field and have done a good job. But over time most of the viruses have also stopped in circulation due to certain factors like software dependencies(Operating system). So whether an antivirus is good or not should not be determined by just how many virus signatures it has, but rather how many virus signatures it has for the currently spreading viruses. Oh yes, modern viruses have the capability to even mutate, i mean they change their signatures, the antiviruses should b able to tackle such viruses too. McAfee, Kaspersky and AVG have been one the best in times.

If a file with such a name exists in your C:\windows(Note C:\windwos not C:\windows\system32) folder,
then this can be a virus(trojan or worm)!!!!. This virus will keep on recreating itself
and start infecting the files, and the next time you boot in it starts
infecting every file that you open.
Recently I had got this in my Pc. I was only able to move it to AVG vault
with the AVG antivirus. After this though the message from AVG stopped
appearing for the infection from the virus, but it was too late, by then
the virus had done lot of damage to the files. I had to clean install
windows again. So if you have this virus, on your PC , then better
stop reading this message and shut down your PC and then boot in with
some bootable antivirus(One such is available from Norton),
buy the latest one.
This virus seems to be architecture dependent(Hardware), since this
virus source had been a 64 bit architecture computer, but it didnt
infect that computer, but infected a 32 bit computer, when a file
comtaining that virus was transferred from a 62 bit computer to
a 32 bit computer. Since new computers on the market are 62 bit, these
should be immune to this virus.
